Accountant

Yandex is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our financial team.

In this role, you will manage bookkeeping and maintain financial records.

What tasks await you

Bookkeeping

You will handle bookkeeping and maintain all financial records for group companies in Oracle.

Accounting

You will maintain records of bank statements, incoming invoices, and outgoing invoices. You will also participate in preparation of tax returns (VAT, WHT), actively work on SEF portal, make reconciliation with external partners (Tax Authority, Municipality office, vendors, customers), prepare reports to NBS (DI-1 forms, DI-2 forms, and others) following internal procedures, and manage and ensure accurate balance on GL accounts.

We expect that you

• Have 4+ years of experience as an Accountant
• Are thoroughly familiar with accounting principles and procedures
• Have experience with general ledger functions
• Are proficient in Excel
• Have strong influencing, facilitation, and communication skills
• Take a forward-thinking approach and are committed to improving management accounting processes
