Accountant

We are seeking an Accountant to manage a variety of financial operations activities, primarily the collecting, monitoring, and processing of outstanding balances owed to the company to help meet the company’s financial objectives. The accountant will conduct research, analysis, and problem resolution of the company’s outstanding accounts and the application of payments.

Key Responsibilities

• Applying cash receipts to customer accounts accurately and efficiently.
• Declaring cash and following up on outstanding balances as necessary.
• Reclassifying transactions as required to maintain accurate financial records.
• Completing bank reconciliations related to accounts receivable transactions.
• Conducting AR aging analysis and following up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collection.
• Preparing daily AR sales reports and performing other related activities as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with Sales and the Controller to keep all parties informed of credit concerns and to escalate matters appropriately.
• Supporting internal and external audit requirements
• Process transactions with precision, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), company policies, and generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP).
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within accounting operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of relevant accounting or accounts payable experience, preferably within a multinational or matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated experience working with ERP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Fluent in English
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
