Your Responsibilities

As a Cost Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial transparency, operational excellence, and strategic decision-making within our manufacturing environment.

Costing & Analysis

• Prepare target cost calculations and actual cost calculations
• Perform variance analysis and identify cost optimization opportunities
• Maintain reference parameters and overhead rates (Plant & SG&A)
• Create ad hoc analyses and management reports as required

Cost Accounting

• Manage cost center and cost object accounting
• Support preparation and review of departmental budgets
• Monitor operating revenues and expenses
• Track capitalization and depreciation activities

Planning & Reporting

• Prepare annual forecasts and ad hoc business projections
• Exchange and align financial results within the PWO Group
• Prepare monthly management reports and performance analyses

Controlling & Business Partnering

• Evaluate investments through cost-benefit and payback analyses
• Collaborate closely with department managers, auditors, and other stakeholders
• Maintain costing structures, cost center planning, and allocation keys
• Participate in annual and periodic standard cost calculations

Manufacturing Controlling

• Monitor and analyze production order variances, including material variances
• Labor variances
• Overhead variances
• Scrap variances
• Efficiency variances
• Analyze material consumption against BOMs and manufacturing processes
• Ensure accurate cost postings to cost centers, internal orders, and WBS elements
• Participate in annual inventory counts and stock-taking activities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial controlling
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
• Experience with SAP and Cognos is considered an advantage
• Good command of English (B2/C1 level preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
