Junior Accountant

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client, an internationally recognized technology company operating a fast-growing digital platform across multiple markets. We are seeking a finance professional to join their team as a Junior Accountant based in Belgrade.

This role is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to further develop their expertise within a dynamic and international business environment. As part of the Finance team, you will work closely with experienced colleagues and contribute to a wide range of accounting, reporting, compliance, and financial closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping
• Prepare and post accounting entries in accordance with company policies and local regulations
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies when needed
• Maintain and organize accounting documentation and other financial records
• Monitor updates in accounting standards and relevant legislation
• Assist in the coordination of external audits and preparation of audit-related documentation
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Up to 2 years of relevant accounting experience
• Familiarity with financial reporting
• Familiarity with IFRS standards
• Previous experience in an international or multinational environment is considered an advantage
