Junior Developer (Contract) - Remove, Serbia

Yeda is a small, premium 1:1 online math tutoring company for teens. We work with a hand-picked team of teachers and a lean operations team, no big office, no bureaucracy, real work with real impact on how our platform runs.

We're hiring a junior developer on contract to help build a few small features on top of our existing systems (Miro boards, Monday.com, MS365). The mechanics and specs are defined by us, this role is about clean, reliable implementation.

What you'll do

Build and maintain a handful of scoped features that plug into our existing tools, working from specs we provide. Integrations and small builds, not architecture decisions.

Background & skills

• Junior level (0-2 years professional, or strong personal/side projects)
• Real interest in gaming and gamification, you get why something feels fun or satisfying to use
• Comfortable writing, testing, and maintaining scripts independently
• API integration experience, including AI/LLM APIs like Claude
• Comfortable in an IDE, using GitHub

Nice to have

• Basic CI/CD familiarity (GitHub Actions or similar)

Not Relevant

• Background in game engine development (Unity, Unreal)

Structure

Contract, project-based. Short paid test task first (a small scoped piece of work) before a longer engagement.

Location & pay

Remote, Serbia-based. €15-25/hr.
