In preparation for our upcoming expansion of business activities, Optimed is looking to expand its team!

Optimed d.o.o. is looking for a motivated, hard-working and dedicated candidate to join our team here in Belgrade!

Optimed is a Belgrade based medtech and pharmaceutical company which has been in this business for over 30 years. Over the course of the past three decades, we have constantly promoted the advancement of Serbian ophthalmology. Some of these include the introduction of the first ever eye vitamin on the Serbian market (1998), introduction of the phaco method of cataract surgery (2000s) to eventually launching the country's first ever medical software in 2020.

Since launching our software (Alatyr) we have continuously worked on enhancing and expanding its features so as to meet the needs of local healthcare professionals. That is why in 2023 we introduced the country's first digital nevus database. Through it we record any changes that might lead to the development of melanomas.

Our next big project is related to the introduction of AI in Serbian ophthalmology thus bringing ophthalmic diagnostics up to contemporary standards.

Open position

medical sales representative

As a medical sales representative your job will be to visit ophthalmologists so as to promote our product portfolio. In addition to promotion, your job will be to track commercial activities within your zone, to analyse them and to propose what are the best ways Optimed can adapt to these new business realities.

Note: these positions are not for remote work and they are exclusively Belgrade-based.

Qualifications

• University degree (medicine, dentistry, biology, molecular biology, pharmacy)
• Driver's licence, active driver
• Performance motivated
• Thorough and detail oriented
• Willing to move to or is already living in Belgrade
• Ability to legally work in Serbia
• Fluent in Serbian
