Senior Backend Developer (Node.js / PostgreSQL) | B2B iGaming Platform

We are hiring a Senior Backend Developer to take full technical ownership of critical backend services for an established, transaction-heavy B2B platform.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REQUIREMENT:

Only candidates with Serbian citizenship OR an already approved permanent/residence permit in Serbia will be considered.

(The company does NOT offer visa sponsorship or work permit assistance.)

📍 Work Setup: Remote (EU Hours / CET/CEST)

💻 Core Tech Stack: Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, Sequelize, Redis, JavaScript

⚙️ Delivery: 2-week sprints via Jira

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Core API & Backend Development: Build robust REST APIs for payments, player balances, bonuses, and operational reporting.
• Database Architecture: Optimize PostgreSQL queries, indexes, and schema migrations (using Sequelize & raw SQL).
• Complex Integrations: Integrate third-party providers (payment gateways, game aggregators, CRM, KYC).
• Data Integrity & Security: Ensure transactional correctness, precise monetary calculations, and safe failure handling.

🔹 What We Expect:

• Solid experience building and supporting Node.js / Express.js applications in production.
• In-depth PostgreSQL & SQL knowledge (concurrency, locking, transactions, indexing).
• Hands-on experience with Redis caching strategies.
• Experience handling high-integrity data or financial transactions.
• Fluent English (written & spoken).

💡 Bonus Points: Experience in iGaming, Fintech, AWS, CloudWatch, or event-driven systems.
