Senior Data Engineer

At Brighting, we are expanding our global Data & Analytics capabilities for a large-scale international retail and omnichannel platform.

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer who enjoys building scalable modern data platforms, solving complex ingestion challenges, and modernizing enterprise data ecosystems.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Improve and optimize data ingestion from SAP HANA into Snowflake

• Support migration from legacy SnowSQL pipelines toward DBT

• Build scalable ELT/ETL pipelines and transformation workflows

• Improve data validation, reliability, and platform observability

• Collaborate with architects and Data Integration specialists on end-to-end solutions

• Contribute to modernization of enterprise-scale data architecture

Required Skills

• Strong Snowflake experience

• Advanced SQL knowledge

• Hands-on DBT experience

• Python development skills

• CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code mindset

• Experience with cloud-native data engineering practices

Nice to Have

• SAP HANA or ERP ecosystem experience

• Data Integration and ingestion tooling experience

• Snowflake Semantic Views

• Analytics Engineering background

• Experience with large-scale omnichannel or retail platforms
