C++ Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Programming of branch specific applications and services with focus on implementation and optimization of complex mathematical and geometric algorithms and technical orientated API solutions in the areas of lighting design, visualization and simulation
• Contribution to projects for conception and realization of C++ and .NET intranet solutions and online services to ensure maintainability, performance and stability
• Support for design of software systems (C++, .NET)
• Evaluation of technologies, frameworks, software paradigm, etc.
• Creation and quality assurance of concepts, technical specifications, prototypes and documentation relating to the IT solution being developed in order to guarantee maintainability, performance and reliability of the corresponding IT solutions
• Design, extension and support of interfaces from and to lighting design solutions and product data management tools with focus on 3D technologies in backend and frontend solutions
• 3rd level support on technical inquiries and incidents

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master Degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics or related technical field
• Experience in the area of software conception and development of calculation driven backend solutions (creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance, maintainability and effectiveness; technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C++)
• Experience of mathematical model specification and implementation, GPU-accelerated calculation pipeline, memory management, multi-threading, multi GPU load balancing and CPU/GPU profiles are of advantage
• Project experience in quality assurance and introduction as well as operation and support of IT backend solutions
• Experience in design and use of manual and automated testing methodologies and technologies are of advantage
• Good knowledge of programming technologies like OpenGL/WebGL, Vulkan, GLM, VMA, RenderDoc are of advantage
• Knowledge and practical experience with data visualization and 3D geometry are of advantage
