Role Description

As a Collection Specialist, you’ll make sure outstanding payments to the company are settled on time while maintaining strong business relationships with our clients. Day-to-day tasks include reaching out to debtors by phone and email, negotiating payment terms, tracking the status of each account, and keeping records up to date, while working closely with other departments and our legal team. The role involves daily communication in English.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact debtors by phone and in writing to arrange the settlement of outstanding balances
• Negotiate the best possible solutions and payment terms, including payment plans
• Document all communication and track the collection status of each account
• Prepare payment reminders and collection notices
• Keep the database accurate and up to date
• Collaborate with other departments and the legal team

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (accounts receivable, debt collection, or working with debtors)
• Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is a strong advantage
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to stay calm and professional in challenging conversations
• Accuracy, responsibility, and strong attention to detail
• Good computer skills, especially Excel / Google Sheets
• Willingness to work on-site from our Niš office
• Availability to work the afternoon shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
