Customer Quality Supervisor

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Customer Quality professional to manage customer quality activities, drive effective claim resolution and corrective actions, ensure customer satisfaction, and support continuous quality improvement and team development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitor external quality losses and support continuous COPQ reduction (customer claims and sorting costs) through effective daily quality management.
• Lead customer claim handling and medium- to major-quality issues, coordinate cross-functional resources, ensure timely escalation when required, and drive the effective implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Supervise the Customer Quality Engineer (CQE) team, organize customer claim analysis, promote risk sharing across MAE plants, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Plan and execute customer quality audits to ensure process compliance, product quality, and continuous improvement.
• Manage resident engineers, third-party inspectors, and sorting activities to ensure timely containment actions and effective customer support.
• Develop team capabilities through coaching, performance management, and training plans to strengthen professional skills and support talent development within the Customer Quality team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Quality or Project Management within the mechanical industry, or 3+ years of experience in Quality or Project Management within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or French is considered an advantage.
• Solid knowledge and experience in Quality Management, Cost Management, Project Management, and Quality Planning.
• Good knowledge of the IATF 16949 Quality Management System.
