Opis
This is a role for an electrical design engineer who designs control systems and control cabinets in EPLAN independently, works precisely, and keeps the whole project in view.
You will join Teem as part of a dedicated team supporting a mid-sized Dutch engineering and installation group specialising in industrial automation, panel building, and electrical systems. The client designs, builds, and maintains electrical and control installations for pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, bridges, and locks. It works for regional water authorities, drinking water companies, and public bodies, and also delivers process automation for industrial clients in energy, chemicals, and food. Its projects range from new builds to the renovation of existing installations. Its hardware engineering team turns client specifications into the electrical designs that its own panel workshop builds and tests. You will work from our Belgrade office, fully embedded in the client’s EPLAN environment and project rhythm. You will collaborate in English every day with the lead engineer, the project manager, and Dutch colleagues in software engineering, work preparation, and panel building.
What you will do
- Translate client specifications, system definitions, P&IDs, and load lists into complete electrical designs for installations, control systems, and control cabinets
- Produce and check electrical schematics, cabinet layouts, terminal diagrams, and cable and material lists in EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel
- Select components and materials and write the corresponding technical specifications, working from the client’s article database and macro libraries
- Carry out cable sizing, panel heat load, and other design calculations, and verify that designs comply with EN 60204-1, EN 61439, and client specifications
- Resolve technical issues together with project management, software engineering, work preparation, and panel building, and align component choices with suppliers
- Process revisions, including findings from testing, FAT, and commissioning, so that documentation stays complete and correct throughout the project
- Contribute to the standardisation of EPLAN libraries, templates, and engineering standards within the team
Who we are looking for
This role requires hands-on experience designing electrical schematics and control cabinets in EPLAN for industrial or infrastructure installations, who:
- Holds a BSc or MSc in electrical engineering, majoring in power systems or automation and control
- Has at least [three] years of experience designing control systems and control cabinets for industrial installations
- Works confidently in EPLAN Electric P8 and has hands-on experience with EPLAN Pro Panel
- Knows EN 60204-1 and EN 61439 and applies them in everyday design work
- Communicates comfortably in English, written and spoken, in daily work with Dutch engineers and project leads
- Pays close attention to detail while keeping the whole project in view
- Sets clear priorities and works to deadlines without close supervision
- Is looking for a stable, long-term role rather than project-to-project work
What we offer
- A stable, full-time role within a growing Teem engineering team
- A long-term project, with a lead engineer and project manager set up to work with you from the start
- Direct involvement in electrical design for Dutch water infrastructure and industrial automation, from new builds to renovations
- Structured onboarding into the client’s EPLAN standards, article database, and macro libraries
- A working culture built on clarity, technical quality, and continuity
Why this role is different
This is not agency placement or short-term project work. You will be part of a dedicated team embedded in a firm that has engineered the electrical and control systems behind Dutch water management for more than twenty years. Its clients are the regional water authorities and drinking water companies that manage water levels and treat wastewater across the country, and the installations are built to run for decades. Your schematics are not internal exercises that get reviewed and filed away. They go to the client’s own panel workshop, where they are built and tested before installation on site. The project you join is long-term, and the expectation is that you stay, master the client’s standards, and become part of how the team works.
