Reefer Dispatcher

A well-established company with years of experience in the transportation industry and an office in Belgrade, we are looking for a Reefer Dispatcher to join their team.

About the Role

As a Reefer Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily operations of a fleet of refrigerated (reefer) trucks, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while maintaining compliance with temperature-sensitive cargo requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor reefer loads from pickup to delivery
• Communicate with drivers to ensure route efficiency, on-time performance, and compliance with hours-of-service (HOS) regulations
• Negotiate rates and secure loads through load boards and broker relationships
• Track shipments in real time and proactively resolve delays or issues
• Maintain accurate records of loads, mileage, and driver logs
• Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and temperature control requirements for perishable freight

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatching, preferably with refrigerated (reefer) loads.
• Familiarity with load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) and dispatch software
• Strong understanding of U.S. trucking regulations (HOS, DOT compliance)
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
