Role Description The Senior 3D Animation Rendering + VFX professional will create high-quality visual content for YouTube documentaries, focusing on cinematic 3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects. Day-to-day tasks include modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering, compositing, and integrating VFX elements that enhance complex narratives and educational or documentary-style stories. The role involves collaborating with scriptwriters and editors to translate concepts into compelling visual sequences, maintaining consistent style and quality across projects, and optimizing workflows for efficient production. This is a full-time remote role that requires proactive communication, reliable time management, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with a distributed creative team.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in 3D modeling, animation, and rendering using industry-standard tools (e.g., Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max).
• Experience with visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing in software such as After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion.
• Proficiency in lighting, shading, texturing, and working with realistic materials and environments.
• Ability to design and execute story-driven sequences for documentary-style content, including animatics and previz.
• Competence in video editing workflows and collaboration with post-production teams (e.g., Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
• Understanding of YouTube content requirements, aspect ratios, codecs, and optimization for online delivery.
• Strong communication skills, ability to interpret briefs, and openness to feedback and iteration.
• Proven experience in a senior or lead animation/VFX role, with a portfolio showcasing high-quality documentary or educational work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a remote, cross-functional team environment.
• Relevant education or training in animation, VFX, film, or a related field is preferred but not required; equivalent professional experience is valued.
