Role Description

The Senior Auditor will execute and oversee various audit engagements for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with international and local accounting standards. Responsibilities include preparing audit plans, analyzing financial statements, identifying risks, evaluating internal controls, and providing recommendations for process improvements. The role also entails mentoring junior auditors and fostering collaborative client relationships. This is a full-time on-site position based in Belgrade.

Qualifications

• Strong auditing skills, including financial statement analysis and risk assessment.
• Proficiency in accounting standards and practices, including IFRS and local regulations.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities to oversee and guide junior team members.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and reporting.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are highly desirable.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is an asset.
• Previous experience in audit roles, preferably in a consulting or multinational environment.
• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
