Role Description: The Content Marketing Manager (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for planning, creating, and optimizing content that supports ectacom’s brand, lead generation, and customer engagement across digital channels. This position develops and executes content marketing campaigns, including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, website copy, email content, social media assets, and sales enablement materials tailored to IT and cybersecurity audiences. The role involves collaborating closely with Vendor Development Management and the operative sales Management to translate complex security solutions into clear, compelling messaging and value propositions. The Content Marketing Manager monitors content performance, analyzes metrics, and refines strategies to increase reach, engagement, and conversion. Daily work includes managing an editorial calendar, ensuring consistent brand voice, overseeing content production workflows, and coordinating external agencies or freelancers as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong content creation skills, including web content writing, marketing copywriting, and the ability to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with content strategy and content marketing, including planning editorial calendars, defining audience segments, and aligning content with demand generation goals.
• Background in digital marketing, such as managing campaigns across email, social media, and web channels, and using analytics tools to measure performance.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with attention to detail, consistency of tone, and adherence to brand and style guidelines.
• Strong research skills to understand cybersecurity topics, industry trends, and customer pain points, and to transform complex information into clear narratives.
• Familiarity with IT and cybersecurity concepts or experience in B2B technology or security-focused environments is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with common marketing and content tools (e.g., CMS platforms, marketing automation, analytics, and collaboration tools).
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects and deadlines, and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
