Role Description The Senior WordPress Designer / Website Growth Specialist (Remote) is a full-time role responsible for designing, building, and optimizing WordPress websites to maximize user experience, conversion rates, and organic visibility. Day-to-day tasks include creating and refining WordPress themes and layouts, improving site performance, and collaborating with SEO specialists to ensure technical and on-page SEO best practices are implemented. The role involves conducting UX and conversion audits, A/B testing key pages, and developing landing pages and content structures aligned with growth and lead-generation goals. This position also requires ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements, as well as coordination with content, marketing, and development teams in a remote, distributed work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong WordPress skills, including custom theme design, layout creation, and plugin configuration.
• Experience with responsive web design, modern front-end practices (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of on-page and technical SEO fundamentals, site speed optimization, and SEO-friendly information architecture.
• Competence in UX and conversion rate optimization, including landing page design, user journey mapping, and A/B testing.
• Familiarity with analytics and tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, basic tag management) to measure and improve performance.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in an agency or growth-focused environment and familiarity with ethical SEO practices is highly beneficial.
