Role Description

The Service Engineer is a full-time role based in Belgrade. It involves installing, configuring, and maintaining laboratory equipment at customer sites, as well as performing scheduled and corrective maintenance. The Service Engineer will diagnose technical issues, provide field service visits, and deliver remote technical support to ensure minimal equipment downtime. Day-to-day responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software problems, performing repairs, documenting service activities, and reporting on equipment performance. The role also involves collaborating with sales and application teams, training users on proper equipment use, and communicating clearly with customers to ensure high levels of service and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Experience with field service activities, including on-site visits, installations, and commissioning of laboratory equipment.
• Technical support capabilities, including remote assistance, ticket handling, and clear documentation of service cases.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, colleagues, and external partners in a clear and professional manner.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, electronics, biomedical engineering, or a related technical field.
• Ability to work independently, manage time and priorities, and travel within the region as required.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
