Specifications

Experience operating CNC turning/lathe machines. • Practical machine-operation experience is essential; hands-on ability is more important than CNC programming knowledge.

Duties & Resposibilities

• Load and unload metal components/parts and prepare the machine for production.
• Run existing CNC programs and monitor the machining cycle and production process.
• Set up the workstation, fixtures, tools and raw materials as required.
• Change, set, measure and calibrate cutting tools; apply basic tool-offset and parameter corrections.
• Select or follow appropriate cutting parameters and machining conditions within the approved process.
• Read technical/engineering drawings and work instructions; understand dimensions and tolerances.
• Carry out first-piece checks and routine dimensional and visual inspection using measuring instruments and gauges.
• Identify quality or machining issues, make permitted basic adjustments and keep production running safely.

Specifications for Horizontal 4-Axis Machining Centre Operator

Experience with a horizontal 4-axis machine preferred; the fourth axis is used exclusively for rotation. • For the horizontal machining centre role, prior experience with a horizontal 4-axis machine is preferred.

• Useful experience/knowledge: part setup, workpiece referencing, tool setting and offsetting, blueprint/drawing reading, and use of measuring instruments.

Duties & Responsibilities for Horizontal 4-Axis Machining Centre Operator

The machine is a 4-axis Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) equipped with a rotary table (B-axis). It is designed for multi-sided milling and drilling of components in a single setup, using a horizontal spindle, rotary table and automatic tool changer. The fourth axis is used for rotation.

Duty Hours

Regular hours can variate depending on the number of working days in month (20-22 days), overtime and Saturdays are excluded Overtime is Saturday work, compensated at a rate that is 26% higher than the standard hourly rate Total monthly net salary is calculated based on 40 hours regular work in a week (176 monthly) + one Saturday (8 hours)
