Apoddo is a software development-as-a-service company. We specialize in providing software development services to small and medium-sized businesses in the United States. Currently, we employ 70+ full-time engineers and another 20+ hourly engaged experts. We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Lead Engineer to join our client's innovative team. You will be working on the biggest aviation commerce platform.

About the role

As the Lead of our engineering team, you'll work with a high-quality codebase and cutting-edge technologies to build innovative web applications across both front-end and back-end, while also guiding the team's technical direction. You'll collaborate with and mentor engineers across multiple layers of the infrastructure, contributing to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Beyond hands-on delivery, you'll own architectural decisions, set coding standards, and act as the technical point of contact between the engineering team and stakeholders. Tasks

• Lead the design and architecture of new applications
• Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical feedback
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Drive technical decisions and define best practices across the team
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Own code quality, organization, and automation standards for the team
• Facilitate brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology, algorithms and products
• Work with the engineering and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate them into pragmatic and effective technical solutions
• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule
• Act as a technical liaison with the client, help with UX/UI advice



Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years as a software engineer, including 2+ years in a Lead, mentoring, or technical ownership role
• Proven experience leading a team or guiding junior/mid-level engineers
• Relevant experience in React, Redux, Context, SCSS
• Relevant experience in Golang, TypeScript, SQL Databases
• Experience with micro-services and making architecture-level decisions
• Strong communication skills — comfortable representing the technical team to stakeholders/clients
• Eye for detail
• Version control: GIT
• Fluency in English
