About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant / Team Lead to join our team in Belgrade. This role is ideal for a senior SAP FI/CO Finance consultant with strong hands-on expertise, fluent English, and the ability to lead and support a team working with international customers across Application Managed Services and SAP S/4HANA-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the AMS SAP FICO Nearshore team in Belgrade, providing functional guidance, mentoring, peer reviews, and day-to-day coordination
• Act as a key contact for SAP FI/CO Finance topics within Application Managed Services and SAP S/4HANA-related activities
• Gather requirements from users and translate business needs into functional SAP FI/CO solutions
• Design, configure, implement, and optimize SAP FI/CO customization in line with business requirements and SAP best practices
• Prepare, review, and execute test cases, support user acceptance testing, and assist with issue and defect resolution
• Collect, define, and write functional specifications for enhancements and system changes
• Analyze incidents and process issues, identify root causes, and clearly communicate next steps to end users and stakeholders
• Record issues and related solutions to support the growth and integrity of the internal Knowledge Base
• Complete service delivery documentation and support knowledge transfer across the team

Required Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience as an SAP FI/CO consultant, including implementation and/or Application Managed Services activities
• Mandatory strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO Finance processes, configuration, and integration points
• Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments
• Experience with requirements analysis, functional specifications, testing, end-user support, and incident resolution
• Previous experience in a senior consultant or team lead role , with the ability to mentor and support team members
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education in a relevant field
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English, both written and spoken

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of the Italian language
• Experience with additional finance-related SAP areas such as AA, TR, AP, AR, BA, IHC, or CO-PA
• Experience with integration topics involving MM, SD, PS, or other SAP modules
