Quectel Wireless Solutions is a global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Modules, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA(+), GNSS, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth technologies. Due to business expansion on the Serbian market and the growth of our R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

ON-SITE , Monday - Friday, with flexible start between 7:30 - 9:30 AM.

We are looking for: Software Application Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with relevant customer project teams to complete the design and implementation of module functions in customer products.
• Carry out adaptation and development of upper-layer applications and underlying drivers based on the SDK.
• Be responsible for the debugging, implementation, and optimization of Wi-Fi & Bluetooth modules, including performance optimization and certification-related issues according to customer requirements.
• Develop new software functions based on customer requirements and provide technical support.
• Support, analyze, and resolve customer issues reported through Jira.
• Participate in the development and debugging of various Radio Access Technologies (RAT), including LTE and LPWA, as well as network-related issues involving TCP, HTTP, MQTT, and other protocols.
• Collaborate with internal R&D engineers, providing timely feedback on common customer issues and jointly identifying and resolving technical problems.
• Analyze and provide solutions for Wi-Fi & Bluetooth-related issues on Android and Linux platforms.
• Write, maintain, and update technical documentation.
• Other tasks assigned by the immediate superior, in line with the employee’s position, qualifications, and scope of work.

Qualification requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role; experience with embedded systems and wireless communication modules will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming and SDK-based development.
• Understanding of Wi-Fi & Bluetooth technologies and their implementation on Android and Linux platforms.
• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and MQTT.
• Experience with LTE, LPWA, or other wireless communication technologies is an advantage.
• Experience with Linux is preferred.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate level of English, both written and spoken.
