Unified Communications Engineer (Cisco Webex & Conferencing Solutions)

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Unified Communications Engineer to join a growing team responsible for delivering and supporting modern conferencing and collaboration solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing conferencing solutions while ensuring high service quality and a seamless user experience. You will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and contribute to the continuous improvement of collaboration services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and support enterprise video conferencing and Unified Communications solutions.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot conferencing platforms to ensure optimal service availability and performance.
• Provide 2nd level technical support and actively contribute to issue resolution and service improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, operational procedures, and reports related to implemented solutions.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify requirements and deliver effective communication solutions.
• Participate in technical workshops, certifications, and training activities to stay up to date with industry developments.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous service enhancement projects.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, operational procedures, and service level requirements.

Requirements:

• Experience with Cisco Unified Communications environments and VoIP technologies.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:
• Cisco Webex
• Cisco CMS
• Cisco TMS
• Logitech Conferencing Solutions
• Huawei Conferencing Solutions
• Solid understanding of IP Networking, including routing and switching.
• Knowledge of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and virtualization technologies (VMware).
• Basic scripting or programming skills, particularly for automation purposes.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Skype, or other UC solutions.
• Understanding of cloud-based collaboration and communication technologies.
• Experience working in enterprise service environments.
• Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate German language skills would be considered an advantage.
