Role Description The Controlling Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Serbia. This position is responsible for supporting financial planning and analysis, including preparation of regular financial reports, tracking key performance indicators, and monitoring budget adherence. The Controlling Specialist will analyze variances between planned and actual results, provide insights to management, and contribute to cost optimization initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with accounting and operational teams, maintaining accurate data in controlling tools, assisting in forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The role also involves preparing presentations and summaries to support decision-making by management.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control, with the ability to interpret data and provide clear recommendations.
• Proficiency in Excel and other financial or ERP systems, with solid skills in data management and report creation.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, preferably with experience in a corporate or media environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner to different stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Fluency in Serbian and good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Previous experience in controlling, financial planning and analysis, or a similar role is highly beneficial.
